Jo is a Toronto-based photographer but is willing to be flown around the world to shoot food, people, places, food people, glamorous stars, etc. She studied Art History at the University of Victoria, which she loved, but then moved back to Toronto (where she grew up), took a reality pill, and studied photo and film at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Before that, her mom taught her how to work a camera and how to print in a darkroom. (Thanks Ma). She is going to have another show soon, dammit, and also is working on some book projects. She lives with her hubby and two amazing and completely different 6 year old twins, Oliver and Isabella.
She has a Twitter account but feels a little awkward about the whole new media thing. It was hard enough to switch to digital photography.
